Obama: "Executive Action" on Gun Control "Within My Authority as President"
Fred Lucas reports at CNSNews.com:
President Barack Obama said Monday he would take executive action pertaining to gun control. Though he wasn’t specific, he said some would have to do with tracing guns.
"Some of them I can accomplish through executive action," Obama said during a news conference one week before his second inauguration. "I am confident that there are some steps that we can take that don’t require legislation and that are within my authority as president and where you have a step that has the possibility to reduce gun violence, I want to go ahead and take it."
And, Mr. Obama, it is within the authority of "We the People" to take executive action against any infringement of the 2nd Amendment.
You, and every president, work for us. And our refusal to abide any infringement of the right to self-defense against unlawful "executive action," under God, may be a helpful reminder to you, in this matter.
