Shannon Spada reports at Campus Reform:
The University of Missouri has officially cut ties with Janna Basler, the former dean of student life who was caught on video shoving a student reporter during the protests that rocked campus in 2015.
Basler's departure comes roughly 17 months after the dismissal of Melissa Click, a former instructor who called for "muscle" to evict a different student journalist from the premises.
Neither Basler nor Mizzou is commenting on the nature of her departure, but some speculate that it could be due to budget cuts imposed in response to the dramatic drop in enrollment that Mizzou has experienced since the protests. [emphasis added]
