Chicago Man Suffers Instant Blowback When He Tries to Rob Woman

By Rick Pearcey • January 14, 2019, 01:29 PM

Amber Athey reports at Daily Caller:

A 25-year-old Chicago woman with a concealed carry license shot and killed a man who attempted to rob her at gunpoint last week.

Police say the armed 19-year-old man approached the young woman at a bus stop in Chicago's Fernwood neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Surveillance video captured across the street from the bus stop shows a struggle between the two before the woman pulls out her own firearm and shoots the man in the neck.

The man took off running but was later found by police and transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

"According to a report by ABC 7 Chicago, the area is known to be dangerous and women routinely arm themselves to make sure they don't fall victim to similar attacks," Athey reports.

"It's tragic that he did die, but the lady had to do what she had to do," said Bianca Daniel, who lives in the neighborhood, according to The DC.

"I'm kinda of proud that, like, that's what she did because she stuck up for herself," Daniel said, according to Athey.

"The suspect was identified by police as Laavion Goings," The DC concludes. "The woman suffered only minor injuries and police will not file charges in the case."

In this case, a good girl with a gun was able to defend herself, putting into practice the unalienable human right to life and to self-defense.

There is gratitude that the victim escaped unharmed but no joy in the death of this young man. And yet he put his own life in jeopardy by violently accosting another human being.

We do not know what the attacker's ultimate intentions were, and neither does his victim. Not just robbery, but sexual assault and murder could have been the outcome.

We do know that a young woman refused to be a sitting duck. She refused to be a defenseless victim.

As a significant human being, she took responsibility for being able to protect herself and those around her. Lawful and moral self-defense is an act of love.

A young man illegally and immorally broke the bonds of human community, and for that he paid the ultimate price.

The attacker violated the liberating, civilizing, humanizing command to "Love thy neighbor." And then he died.

Big Tranny Gov't: Students Should Report Peers Who Call "Trans" Pupils by Factual, Biological Sex

By Rick Pearcey • May 23, 2018, 02:39 PM

Claire Chretien reports at LifeSiteNews:

It's "illegal" for children to call "transgender" classmates by their actual biological sex, according to one UK elementary school that asks its students to report peers who do so.

The school offers extensive guidelines on "being a trans-friendly school" and minimizing distinctions between boys and girls.

Students at Arbury Primary School are between the ages of four and 11, according to its website. It bills itself as having "a commitment to equality in respect of disability, ethnicity, culture, national origin, national status, gender, gender identity, religion, faith background or sexual identity. . ."

It is unfortunate that Arbury Primary School does not have a commitment to the facts of life, including the biological facts of male-female diversity.

This grooming of kids in avoiding reality and in reporting classmates who rightfully rebel -- as human beings -- against the tyranny of ideological passions alienated from space-time reality seems a great way to manufacture compliant humano-droids who will trust and obey whatever Big Education, Big Government, or even Big Islam (more here, here, and here), has in mind for them.

Don't think, just obey.

Do as you're told by extremist authorities who -- as if heading up a spiritualist cult -- really don't want biological science to distract you from their plans for your life.

There's no way this grooming, this "education," could be a breeding ground for, let's say, fascism. Right?

But there's a bright side. Do your lessons well and one day you could be in charge of the Secret Police. The kingdoms of this world could be all yours.

Go here to read the entire report "UK Primary School: Students Should Reports Peers Who Call 'Trans' Pupils by Proper Sex."

Stupid Government Study Says Male and Female Toilet Signs "Discriminate" Against Transgender People

By Rick Pearcey • January 5, 2017, 11:18 AM

"British researchers have spent £50,000 ($60,000) of public money on a study which concluded male and female toilet signs can be seen as 'discriminatory'," Heat Street reports.

Stupid.

Laughably stupid.

Politically correct horse hockey.

You might even say this study discriminates against people with intelligence and eyesight who refuse to be silent about boys and girls and the facts of life.

So this particular outbreak of brain-killing loopiness is occurring in England.

Thus reports Heat Street: "A team from Sheffield Hallam University spent a year asking members of the public whether they believed people should have a choice on which toilet they use."

The drama queen findings? "Participants thought it was important for others to not judge people’s choice of toilet."

Now -- that's progress.

You see, it's ethically evil, regressive, and icky to offend the spirit of moral relativism.

Am I wrong, or didn't Islam conquer England last week?

Not that that would be a bad thing. I mean, who's to judge?

But wait, if if (yes -- two ifs on purpose) relativism says judgment isn't allowed, what's the problem with "discrimination" -- whether real or the fairy-tale version?

As if "discrimination" were something bad. How 6th century BC. How last Thursday.

In any case, Obama needs to get over there el quicko to award the good folks of Sheffield Hallam University a U.S. Distinguished Public Service Medal. You know, like the one he just awarded himself.

Speaking of Sheffield, I wonder how many men self-identifying as girls are on the local soccer club's "Ladies First Team"?

Whatarewegonnado? All these mens and womens everywhere. So much "discrimination."

Yee, doggie, Jed, that's a good one.

Alright, people -- That's your laughbreak of the morning. Now back to the salt mines.

Viva Diversity!!! Federal Court Blocks Obama Regime's Extremist Trans Agenda

By Rick Pearcey • August 22, 2016, 04:21 PM

Ken Klukowski reports at Breitbart:

A federal judge has ruled in favor of 13 states against President Barack Obama's directive that public schools must allow students and adults to enter whatever bathrooms or showers they choose, a policy imposing transgenderism on the nation's schools.

Among the reasons the judge ruled that Obama's unilateral action is illegal is "because it violates the meaning of 'sex' in Title VII and Title IX, making the directive contrary to law," Klukowski writes.

The meaning of "sex" in Title VII and Title IX has nothing to do with how a 3rd-grader feels on Tuesday at 10 a.m. -- whether that feeling is "girlish" or "boyish." The meaning has rather to do with the biological facts of life, such that young males are biologically boys and young females are biologically girls. It's a wonderful diversity that respects the facts of life.

Why does Obama seek to crush this diversity?

Sometimes, it seems, politicians lose their way. Especially when they lust after power. And especially when they view government power as the means to impose their very private, fact-challenged personal belief system.

What's more, if they can cloak that lust in focus-group tested propaganda ("discrimination!" "equality!"), so much the better -- for the lustful politician, that is, not so much for the people over whom the Mussolinis seek to lord it over.

But, someone has said, "Facts are stubborn things." And thank the God of facts, evidence, evaluation, and critical thinking for that.

I'll tell you a secret: There's a really wonderful kind of discrimination called noticing the differences between male and female, boys and girls, men and women.

No doubt, Obama himself practiced discrimination when he chose his wife, Michelle, discriminating not only against all men but also discriminating against all other women.

I am sure that this would be an ongoing discrimination that wife Michelle might mightily agree with and respect.

And because of that "discrimination," just one woman (Michelle) now enjoys a very unequal amount of access to a man who not only is her husband but also is the president of the United States.

Clearly: This is good discrimination performed on behalf of a wonderful diversity. And a rather large tip of the hat to the joys of inequality, too.

But Obama's extremist transgenderism is anything but good and wonderful. For it rejects the facts of life and it seeks to impose upon all America a relativistic ideology that in principle alienates a person's "gender" from that person's biological sex.

That's not governance, it's fanatcism. And the guilty party is Obama.

That's not respect, it's alienation. And the divisive one is Obama.

Let's celebrate this victory of common sense rooted in facts over against extremist politics rooted in fanaticism.

Intelligence "tests everything" and revolts when necessary. We shall overcome.

Young Mother With Glock Threatened by Armed Robber. That Cost Him His Life

By Rick Pearcey • August 18, 2016, 08:41 AM

Here's the news story from ABC15 about a petite young mother at a gas station in Glendale, Arizona, who defended herself in the midst of an armed robbery.

According to the news report, the robber asked Carolann Miracle "for a cigarette and a lighter before he threatened to take her life."

Her response was to channel in "what her father, a Marine, taught her about protecting herself," reports Navideh Forghani of ABC15.

"He stuck a gun to my neck and told me, 'It's loaded, don't move'," Carolann told the reporter. "I think he thought, 'She's a little girl. Maybe she doesn't know how to use her weapon'."

When asked, Carolann said she weighs 85 pounds and is 4 feet, 11 inches tall.

"I dropped my soda, released my gun from my holster, cocked it, and shot him and then we ran in the opposite way."

Carolann said, "I feel sorry for him" and that "I didn't mean to kill him" but that "I had to defend my sister and me."

How might you or a family member of yours have acted in this kind of situation? Dean Weingarten at Gunwatch offers several observations that some may find helpful.

Weingarten says Carolann Miracle "did many things right" and that her Marine father "taught her well."

NBA, Listen Up: With Trans Regime, Say Goodbye to Women's Sports

By Rick Pearcey • August 2, 2016, 10:48 AM

Melody Wood writes at CNSNews.com:

How far does the NBA want transgender "rights" to go?

The NBA stepped into the culture war with its recent decision to move the 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte, North Carolina, citing "the climate created by HB2," the bill that requires government single-sex bathrooms be available only to people on basis of the sex on their birth certificate.

And in so stepping, the NBA may have landed upon a minefield of massive proportion. This is because, as Wood writes, "Bathrooms and locker rooms aren't the only area where transgender activists could demand changes. In fact, sports itself -- not just the bathrooms used by its fans -- could be affected."

Has the politically correct NBA actually thought through where its position leads when applied to other areas of life? Consider: "Would the NBA's sister organization, the WNBA, be willing to let any current NBA player who decides to identify as a female compete on a woman's team?," Wood asks.

Human beings in fact are physically diverse, with enjoyable differences -- attractive inequalities, one might say -- due to any number of factors, including the sexual biological given of whether one is male or female.

And if you want lack of joy, and structural unfairness, try pretending these differences are somehow unreal or simply don't matter or can be overridden by personal feelings or political dictates.

Wood notes how such a pretense would impact negatively upon the WNBA:

Of course, allowing biological men into the WNBA could be unfair to current WNBA players and the many women and girls who aspire to a career in basketball. After all, the average male in his 20s outjumps 95 percent of all women of the same age, and only a handful of WNBA players can dunk.

But if the NBA believes preferred gender identity, not biological sex, is what matters, it naturally follows that men who now identify as women, perhaps without even having any medical treatment, should play in the WNBA, not NBA.

The terminus point of transgender theorizing is clear: Denying the biological facts of life is itself a pathway to unfairness and new forms of discrimination. Surely, there's a better way to cast out old demons than by inviting in new demons.

It is crucial to understand the real-world results of this political ideology that requires an alienation from one's physicality. "If all women's sports are opened to those who identify as women, regardless of genetics, biology, muscle mass, physiology, hormones, and bone structure -- in other words, regardless of sex -- we'll begin seeing many more girls and women who won't be able to compete because of physical differences between men and women," Wood writes.

"This just isn't fair to women athletes and would reverse the long fought battles to end discrimination against women and girls in sports," she argues.

"The NBA's decision to move the All-Star Game from Charlotte is an unnecessary use of cultural cronyism to promote a political ideology currently in vogue," Wood concludes. "And the ideology it is promoting may eventually lead to the demise of women's sports as a unique venue where women can compete and win fairly."

Life precedes sport, and itself affirms a fact-based set of rules. Follow them and there's beauty -- both in life and in sport. Ignore them, and it's game over.

Rick Perry: "We Will Do Everything We Can to Protect" the Unborn

By Rick Pearcey • June 23, 2015, 09:39 AM

Craig Millward reports at CNSNews.com:

Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry said at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority conference on Saturday, "We will do everything we can to protect" the unborn, and "in God's eyes, there is no such thing as an unwanted child."

"I am running to be your president, all of you -- for the unborn, whose potential is God-given, whose conception is a demonstration of God's infinite grace.

"Those lives matter, and we will do everything we can to protect them," Perry said, according to CNSNews.com.

It's a Girl! Therefore, Kill It

By Rick Pearcey • March 18, 2015, 11:56 AM

"One of the biggest threats, the biggest killers of girls today, attacks on women today, is sex-selective abortion," Lila Rose, pro-life activist and president of Live Action, said in a panel presentation at the U.N.’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) on Thursday, March 12," Lauretta Brown reports at CNSNews.com.

"I'm not sure how many people are aware of this, but one of the challenges that we're facing in the United States and other countries across the world is what The Economist has called the war on baby girls," Rose said in remarks captured on video available at CNSNews.

"There's over 100 million missing girls in the world today because of sex-selective abortion killing off children in the womb -- particularly little girls because they're not seen as valuable as men, as valuable as boys," Rose said.

Guns and Girls: "Love at First Shot"

By Rick Pearcey • May 5, 2014, 10:16 AM

Jonathon M. Seidl writes at the Blaze:

"For many women, a public range can actually be the first barrier to picking up a gun, simply because they don’t know what to expect."

That's how the introduction to the new NRA show, Love at First Shot, begins. And if you’re a woman who’s ever been intimidated by the thought of going to the gun range, it's entirely dedicated to you.

It's a show for the female shooter, and really for the beginning female shooter, although it’s great for anybody,” Natalie Foster, an NRA commentator, new wife, gun enthusiast and blogger told TheBlaze.

Foster hosts the show, which just launched on the NRA Women website. "There’s no content out there to help navigate the world of firearms, and it can get so overwhelming."

So the NRA and Foster set out to change that.

"We wanted to give women a starting point, a friendly face, a friendly format to where they can just click on it and say, 'OK, this is what I should expect going to the range for the first time'," the Blaze quotes Foster as saying at a recent NRA convention in Indianapolis.

The first episode of Love at First Shot is titled "First Trip to the Range" and covers a lot of ground in just over 15 minutes. Watch it here.

New Porn Study Shocks Former Editor of Soft-Porn Magazine

By Nancy Pearcey • October 2, 2013, 10:55 AM

Martin Daubney, formerly editor of Loaded, discusses in the Daily Mail (U.K.) a study he conducted with Dr. Valerie Voon of Cambridge University. Daubney explains that their study focused on . . .

. . . a particular brain region called the ventral striatum -- the "reward centre" -- where our sense of pleasure is produced. This is one of the areas where an addict will show a heightened response to visual representations of their addiction -- whether it's a syringe or a bottle of vodka.

What we discovered was a revelation. When shown porn, the reward centre of normal volunteers barely reacted, but that of the compulsive porn users lit up like a Christmas tree.

The compulsive porn users' brains showed clear parallels with those with substance addictions.

Everybody on the project was astounded. . . .

If porn does have the insidious power to be addictive, then letting our children consume it freely via the internet is like leaving heroin lying around the house, or handing out vodka at the school gates.

And this toxic effect is filtering down directly into young girls' lives.

The most shocking testament came from Professor Gail Dines. Regarded as the world's leading anti-pornography campaigner, she has interviewed thousands of men and women about sex and pornography.

"When you interview young women about their experiences of sex, you see an increased level of violence: rough, violent sex," she says.

"That is directly because of porn, as young boys are getting their sexual cues from men in porn who are acting as if they're sexual psychopaths. Pornography is sexually traumatising an entire generation of boys."

"Trainwreck": Boehner to Allow Vote to De-Fund Obamacare

By Rick Pearcey • September 18, 2013, 11:32 AM

"House Speaker John Boehner, in an abrupt turnaround, plans to let Tea Party lawmakers have a vote on de-funding Obamacare as part of a politically risky strategy which Democrats warn could result in a government shutdown," Fox News reports.

On the website, "Don't Fund It," Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas states: "We can de-fund Obamacare if Republican leaders who tell their constituents they’re conservative stand up and act like they’re conservative."

In addition to Cruz, Sen. Mike Lee of Utah also states on "Don't Fund It": "This is the last opportunity we’re going to have to stop Obamacare before the January 1 deadline so we have to refuse to fund it now."

"GOP leaders unveiled their plan to members [this] morning, teeing up a vote for Friday," according to Fox.

"The law's a trainwreck," Fox quotes Boehner as saying of Obama's grossly misnamed "Affordable Care Act." "It's time to protect American families from this unworkable law," Boehner said.

Stage Set for Molestations, Privacy Violations in California Schools

By Rick Pearcey • August 13, 2013, 10:19 AM

Becky Yeh writes at OneNewsNow:

With the stroke of a pen on Monday, California became the first state to enshrine rights for transgender students in state law -- setting the stage, say pro-family leaders, for young girls to be molested in school locker rooms by boys who believe they are girls.

Without comment, California Governor Jerry Brown yesterday signed into law a bill (AB 1266) strengthening the rights of transgender students (K-12) in the state’s public schools.

It makes the Golden State the first state in the nation to allow participation in "sex-segregated programs, activities, and facilities" in public schools based on a student's gender identity.

Under the new law, public schools will be required to allow the students access to whichever restroom and locker room they want -- and it would allow boys to take showers with girls just because they say they feel they are female.

"It's an outrageous and egregious violation of the privacy and decency for young women and young girls all throughout the state of California,” Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute is quoted as saying. "This new law will even allow boys to play on girl's athletic teams. So this is a serious violation of the fundamental right of young people up and down the state of California."

All of this is allowed "under the guise of providing special rights and protections for children with a gender-identity disorder," Yeh writes. "If a boy wants to molest a girl, he can follow her into a restroom and violate her."

Comment: To paraphrase bluesy rocker Janis Joplin, freedom's just another word for no privacy left to lose.

Inalienable rights -- rooted in the Creator, as opposed to sociological fads posing as "rights," left, right, or center -- lift a people up and help to set them free. But phony rights, even when duly enacted into law by people wearing suits and ties, hurt them and bring them down. A culture can drown in the sewage of its "mainstream."

What's to Forgive? Bill and Hillary "Livid" at Comparison to Weiner

By Rick Pearcey • July 29, 2013, 05:06 PM

"Bill and Hillary Clinton are angry with efforts by mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner and his campaign to compare his Internet sexcapades -- and his wife Huma Abedin’s incredible forgiveness -- to the Clintons’ notorious White House saga," reports the New York Post.

"The Clintons are upset with the comparisons that the Weiners seem to be encouraging -- that Huma is 'standing by her man' the way Hillary did with Bill, which is not what she in fact did," a leading New York Democrat reportedly said," according to the Post.

But I still say: What's to forgive? All that may be happening -- if one adopts the "liberal" theory about life -- is that most of the voting public is still clinging to their Bibles (what remains of them) and have not yet allowed their "America" to be sufficiently "fundamentally transformed" to realize further progress is required down the "progressive" road of reimagining "family," "faithfulness," "forgiveness," "marriage," "orientation," and the wonders of the sexual revolution.

On this view, in 15-20 years, with more "education," "advocacy," and "equality" from the White House, and with toothless Republicans yipping and faithful media yapping, Weiner may yet be recognized for the courageous trailblazer that he is. He could then go to Hillary's house and demand she bake a Weiner Orientation Cake of Pride, Respect, and Celebration for him, Huma, and internet friends with benefits.

They can kiss and make up on Oprah. Celebrate at the Playboy mansion and ensure that whoever replaces Hef shows up.

It's not easy introducing a new sexual orientation to a bigoted nation in need of evolution from its discriminatory ways. And yet, the culture is pregnant with opportunity for "Carlos Danger" to reveal himself as "Nietzsche Superman."

In almost every respect, for orthodox liberals and secularists (Republicans included), God does not exist -- except when they need Him to create and justify immoral behavior by useful politicians in this broken world (not to mention His usefulness in propagandizing understanding wives and agreeable girlfriends).

Problem is, that pathetic, non-existent "god" of secularist believism also creates "haters" -- that is, people who disagree with the "settled" relativistic opinion of the month, campaign cycle, and other tidbits of mere tradition.

Mind you, "haters" are not to be judged, O ye intolerant of little faith. More simply: It's evil to judge

There may be a slight downside to such "fundamental change." As revolutions throughout history have shown, the yang of oppressed haters (we know they're haters because MTV and HBO say so) will demand their "rights," too -- to be won by the edge of the guillotine or through the barrel of a gun, when required. Obamacare data collection and NSA spying could also come in handy. They may help smooth out bumps in the road.

Christmas Comes Early in Texas, as Perry Signs Religious Freedom Bill

By Rick Pearcey • June 14, 2013, 01:27 PM

Susan Jones reports at CNSNews.com:

By law, it is now okay to say "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Hanukkah" in Texas public schools.

Gov. Rick Perry signed House Bill 308 on Thursday, allowing public school students and staff to use traditional holiday greetings and display religious scenes and symbols on school property.

"I'm proud we are standing up for religious freedom in our state," CNS quotes Gov. Perry as saying.

"Freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion, and people of faith often feel like they can't express that faith publicly," the governor continued.

"HB 308 works to address that by ensuring that people of all faiths are free to use traditional holiday greetings, and display religious scenes and symbols, even on school property. It ensures freedom of expression where, for many students, teachers and administrators, it's most important."

Campus Rape Victim: "I Was in a Safe Zone and My Attacker Didn't Care"

By Rick Pearcey • February 21, 2013, 03:16 PM

Joe Schoffstall writes at CNSNews.com:

Recently, Revealing Politics released a video of Colorado Rep. Joe Salazar arguing that college women don't need guns to prevent rape because they can use whistles, "safe zones," and call boxes instead. His theory behind this was that just because women feel they're going to be raped, doesn't mean it's actually going to happen.

On Wednesday, NRA News Radio Host Cam Edwards interviewed Amanda Collins, a woman who was raped at the University of Nevada at gun point in a gun free zone. The brave woman responds to the comments made by Rep. Joe Salazar.

During the radio interview, Collins warned about a "false sense of security." She said the University of Nevada, Reno, "didn't have any call boxes the night that I was attacked. They afterwards they installed them. But I can tell you that a call box above my head while I was straddled on the parking garage floor being brutally raped wouldn't have helped me one bit. The safe zones? Well I was in a safe zone and my attacker didn't care."

Cause-and-Effect Nativity vs. Modern-Day "Faith"

By Rick Pearcey • December 26, 2012, 12:18 PM

It's the Christmas Season -- and, therefore, as every schoolboy and girl ought to know, a time to think:

Cause and effect has little to do with modern-day religion, private spiritualities, personal ethics, Eric Hoffer’s “true believer,” varieties of religious experience, or with assorted “people of faith.”

Let us also not discriminate against orthodox secularists and naturalistic scientists who create their own private truths and valued feelings in an effort to cope as humans with an otherwise unbearable life.

The standard line these days is that questions directed to these private realms are considered impolite, out of bounds, and over the line. Presidential candidates get to pass “Go” and collect votes if they promise their faith really is just theirs -- that is, something merely private and inward, not public and not applicable to policy.

The Creator, and the information he communicates about life in the world, is permitted to inspire during devotions inside closets or during limited times of public tragedy, but he shall have no substantive impact on public life, foreign policy, and so on.

In contrast to a retreat into subjectivity, the Biblical mentality, including the world-altering events that launched Christmas in the first place, has much to do with the natural order.

The Bible knows that messages and songs and other intellectual and aesthetic content come not out of nothing.

Roman edicts are the creations of Roman Caesars, inns too full are the effects of a finite number of rooms plus many travelers hitting the road at the same time.

First-century people did not have electricity, but they knew night skies are not illuminated to reveal familiar daytime geography without a cause of light.

What is given in the Bible is a framework for distinguishing between campfires and angels, both of which are natural phenomena in a cosmos that is the product of a living Creator.

But both of which are also supernatural in a cosmos that is reduced, as some theorize, to particles cold and unaccounted for, arranged without reason in greater or lesser degrees of complexity.

Joseph and Mary knew where baby humans come from, how they are conceived, and how they arrive.

“There is one thing often said about our ancestors which we must not say,” C.S. Lewis writes in his essay “Miracles,” in God in the Dock (emphasis in original). “We must not say ‘They believed in miracles because they did not know the Laws of Nature.’ This is nonsense.” Why? Because “when St. Joseph discovered that his bride was pregnant, he was ‘minded to put her away’. He knew enough biology for that. Otherwise, of course, he would not have regarded pregnancy as a proof of infidelity.”

Mary and Joseph had questions that speak to this issue of cause and effect.

How could she be pregnant without physical relations with a man? Should Joseph reconsider marriage since knowledge of the natural order indicates Mary is not the virgin she claims to be?

They received answers that are reasonable in light of information from a Creator who has within himself the power of being and is free to act into history, just as human beings are empowered to act as well.

In effect, the God of Abraham, Moses, Elijah, and David says he will again act into human history, into what after all is his cosmos, to bring about a physical change in the living, physical environment he created in the first place.

Don't Worry, Ladies, It Was a Transgender Spy Cam

By Rick Pearcey • November 25, 2012, 05:53 PM

CBS 13 in Sacramento reports:

Women were shocked to learn that they were being secretly videotaped while using the restroom at a Vallejo Long John Silvers restaurant.

Police say a teenage employee at the fast food restaurant was capturing their every move.

“That’s disgusting,” said one woman. “It’s a complete violation.”

Female residents were creeped out learning what one customer allegedly found inside the Long John Silvers.

“In Long John Silvers? I go over there all the time. I used to use the restroom too,” said another woman.

Meanwhile, enlightened education accepts the unfounded notion that there is no real difference between the sexes and that gender, orientation, marriage, and family are realy just artificial constructs created by humans. Which can therefore be decreated by humans.

In addition, in a society where abortion is not rare and is always unsafe (ask the babies), those who live outside of the womb, especially those who think they are empowered by the state to invade the privacy of the fetus, up to the point of killing preborn humans, really have no standing upon which to protest when their post-utero privacy is invaded.

In public bathrooms, for example.

You see, the distinction between public and private is just a social construct, as well, it can be argued. And it is probably rooted in that non-evolved One Percenter attachment to private property that Marx warned us about and Obama promises to free us from, so centralized government power can ensure the fair redistribution of life, liberty, and happiness.

In fact, liberalism affirms women and privacy, but only as "sizzle." In substance, liberalism destroys both diversity and privacy.

In a closed-down scheme of merely naturalistic "equality," eventually eveything becomes one -- no Creator, no heaven or hell, no male or female, no in or out, no public or private, but all is one, all is unity, all is tolerated.

But when distinctions disappear, the distinction between safe spaces (women protected in restrooms, for example) as opposed to unsafe spaces (women not protected in restrooms, for example) disappears as well.

It's not supposed to exist, but welcome to Hell anyway.

College Lets Transgender Man Expose Himself to Young Girls

By Rick Pearcey • November 2, 2012, 06:33 PM

Todd Starnes reports at Fox News:

A Washington college said their non-discrimination policy prevents them from stopping a transgender man from exposing himself to young girls inside a women’s locker room, according to a group of concerned parents.

“Little girls should not be exposed to naked men, period,” said David Hacker, senior legal counsel with the Alliance Defending Freedom. A group of concerned parents contacted the legal firm for help.

Hacker said a 45-year-old male student, who dresses as a woman and goes by the name Colleen Francis, undressed and exposed his genitals on several occasions inside the women's locker room at Evergreen State College.

Is Evergreen State College, and its "non-discrimination policy," so alienated from the rules for freedom and human dignity (see, for example, the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution) that it cannot tell the difference between diversity and perversity?

Let me offer a free-thinker's thought for campus life: Any "diversity" that disrespects the unalienable and Creator-endowed difference (authentic diversity!) between male and female is not a strength, it's a weakness. And it's a weakness that puts people at risk.

And by the way, sexual disorientation is not an unalienable right, even if it's "policy." And by the way, a 45-year-old male who hasn't figured out he's a man needs help, not an open door to the girls' dressing room.

It may be that Evergreen State College needs a course in Commonsense 101.

And it may be that, if Evergreen State College really cannot tell the difference between nondiscrimination and nonsense -- between moral right and moral wrong and how these liberating norms apply to the diversity of male and female opposites (viva la difference!) -- then maybe it has no business being in the education business.

In such a case, Evergreen may be harming, not educating. And ever-gullible, not ever-good.

What is study at Evergreen State all about these days? Education? Or is something else on the agenda?

Romney vs. the Boy Scouts

By Rick Pearcey • August 8, 2012, 01:32 PM

LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that Mitt Romney "stands by a 1994 statement that the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) should admit homosexuals to the organization, as members or adult supervisors, according to a campaign spokesperson."

"During a 1994 debate with Ted Kennedy," LifeSiteNews continues, "Romney said, 'I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to decide what it wants to do on that issue. I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.'"

Romney's reaffirmation of his 1994 statement is unfortunate, in the extreme, literally. Yes, he does well by affirming that the Boy Scouts should be able "to decide what it wants to do on that issue."

But in relation to a more foundational concern, he seems not to understand that the homosexualist worldview at its core stands in direct opposition to the freedom worldview of the Founders and the Declaration.

How so? The Creator who is the basis for unalienable rights is also the same (knowable and verifiable and publicly actionable) Creator who is the basis for distinquishing real marriage from counterfeit marriage.

Homosexualists are pushing a monodimensional naturalistic sameness (ill-labeled "equality" for marketing and PR purposes), but the Creator affirms male-female diversity and liberation within the circle of marriage.

"Sexual orientation" is another ill-founded wobbly cliche employed to impose an extremist agenda.

But it is better understood as political disorientation for the uninformed and factually challenged. It opens wide the door for any immoral practice harmful to consenting adults and unsuspecting kids. Go ahead, make NAMBLA's day.

On the issue of Boy Scouts, therefore, Romney is embracing an anti-Creator and anti-human bigtory that places him against the mainstream U.S. position as set forth in our defining and foundational documents.

It's an extremist position, an untenable position, an un-American position, and a losing position.

Political memo to Mitt: Americans seeking liberation from Obamaville remain a people of bold colors and bright ideals, not 50 shades of pastel. Don't let nuance devolve into nonsense.

It's OK to Rape Young Girls If . . .

By Rick Pearcey • July 13, 2010, 08:45 AM

. . . You're a "great" film director, such as the vile Roman Polanski. As Johann Hari writes at the UK Independent (note: vile, explicit, Hollywoodish-language appears in Hari's column):

So now we know. If you are a 44-year-old man, you can drug and anally rape a terrified 13-year-old girl as she sobs, says "No, no, no," and pleads for her asthma medication -- all according to the victim's sworn testimony -- and face no punishment at all. You just have to meet two criteria -- (a) you have to run away and stay away for a few decades; and (b) you need to direct some good films. If you do, not only will you walk free, there will be a huge campaign to protect you from the "witch-hunt" and you will be lauded as a hero.

Now, let me ask you: Do you think this culture, these kinds of people -- the Polanskis and their defenders, enablers -- will stand up to totalitarianism, Islamic terror, cultural breakdown? They are the breakdown. They're begging for chains.
