Haaretz.com reports:
Ukrainian Jews with combat skills formed a rapid intervention force to stop anti-Semitic attacks.
The force, which was set up in recent weeks, currently is made up of eight men who served in the Ukrainian or Israeli armies or have martial arts skills, the team’s founder, Tzvi Arieli [here is his Facebook page], told JTA Thursday.
"Protect the Jews in Ukraine" is the title of the force's Facebook page.
The purpose of the volunteer team from Kiev is to "combat antisemitic attacks and ensure safety of the 110,000 strong Jewish community," says the "About" section of the group's Facebook page.
