Students Risk Failing Grades for Saying "Male," "Female," "Illegal Alien"

By Rick Pearcey • August 31, 2015, 07:10 AM

Peter Hasson reports at Campus Reform:

Multiple professors at Washington State University have explicitly told students their grades will suffer if they use terms such as "illegal alien," "male," and "female," or if they fail to "defer" to non-white students.

And by all means, students, never, ever think for yourself or question authority, professorial or otherwise.

Or you can stand up. Be a human being. Refuse to submit to the coercive establishment. And stop funding campus oppression.

Report: LGBT Rainbow Hate-Flag Found in Journalist-Murderer's Virginia Apartment

By Rick Pearcey • August 28, 2015, 09:55 AM

John Nolte writes at Breitbart.com:

The Daily Telegraph has learned that "police reportedly confiscated a gay pride flag" from the apartment of Vester Lee Flanagan Wednesday. In an apparent hate crime, Flanagan is the 41 year-old black journalist who murdered two white Virginia reporters on live television Wednesday morning before turning his gun on himself.

In a manifesto faxed to ABC News, Flanagan, an Obama-supporter, claimed that his motive involved a "race war." Flanagan was black and gay and apparently angered by the fact that he had been a victim of racism and homophobia at the hands of "black men and white women."

Both of Flanagan's intended victims were straight.

The gay pride rainbow flag reportedly found in Flanagan’s apartment is seen by many as a symbol of anti-Christian hate.

"After a white racist terrorist in South Carolina murdered nine innocent black churchgoers, photos of the racist with the Confederate Flag resulted in a media frenzy to ban the flag," Nolte continues.

"Like the Confederate flag, the provocative gay pride flag, a symbol of religious oppression, has flown on government property, Nolte writes. "The Confederate Flag has since been taken down in South Carolina."

But "thus far," Nolte concludes, "other than a mention in the Telegraph, the media has not reported on the fact that Flanagan might have owned the LGBT rainbow hate-flag."

Socialists Cause Famine in "Breadbasket" of Africa

By Rick Pearcey • August 26, 2015, 09:04 AM

Andre Walker writes:

Around 1.5m people are facing severe shortages of food this year in Zimbabwe, the country once known as the "breadbasket of Africa." The World Food Programme (WFP) announced the shortages, blaming a fall in maize production, according to the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Officially the reason for the fall in maize production is a drought that has affected a number of countries in the region. But the reality is far more sinister: Zimbabwe is in the grip of a nasty Socialist dictatorship that is as incompetent as it is corrupt.

Ex-Satanist: Babies Ritually Aborted for Devil

By Rick Pearcey • August 25, 2015, 10:11 AM

Leo Hohmann writes at WND:

Zachary King remembers the day well. It was in 1982. He was young, rebellious and dabbling in the occult

But on that day, he would make the transition from novice to the deeper things of Satan.

"I had just turned 14, and they told me there was going to be a sex party in someone’s house and all the males in the coven were going to sleep with this woman," recalls King, now 47 and a pro-life activist living in Florida.

"The purpose of the party was to get her pregnant, and then nine months later we were going to be doing an abortion."

"The word abortion was something he’d only heard once before," King recalls, according to Hohmann. "It was used by his mother in a whispered tone."

King says he "went home and looked it up in the dictionary," but "that didn’t really explain it. So I went to the library, and I found whole books which had so much information I couldn't grasp it all."

Then he went to his "coven and asked an older guy, 'What is an abortion?'

"He said, 'We say a spell, and there is a baby in its mother's womb and we kill it'," according to Hohmann.

Reactionary Satanists "Waterboard" Women in Planned Parenthood Counter-Protest

By Rick Pearcey • August 24, 2015, 11:59 AM

Barbara Boland reports at the Washington Examiner:

Satan worshipers launched a counter-protest against pro-lifers outside the Detriot and Ferndale, Michigan, Planned Parenthood locations Saturday.

Clad in black robes, members of the Satanic Temple of Detriot drenched bound women with milk, simulating water-boarding to "illustrate the theocratic agenda imposed upon female bodies." The milk symbolized breast milk, one of the protest organizers explained on Facebook.

The group attached a symbol of their temple to the American flag and held up a sign that read, "America is not a theocracy. End forced motherhood."

Unfortunately for this Satanic propaganda campaign, the fact is that America is a nation rooted in a verifiable, knowable Creator who welcomes questions ("test everything") and has endowed human beings with "unalienable rights," among them the rights to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," the anti-Satanist Declaration of Independence states.

"Members of the Satanic Temple drew inspiration for their 'political theatre' from the nationwide anti-Planned Parenthood protests Saturday," the Examiner reports. "Tens of thousands showed up to protest Planned Parenthood at over 300 locations across the country after a series of undercover videos revealed the abortion giant was harvesting and selling fetal organs and tissue," according to the Examiner.

"The pro-life protesters hope to end Federal taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood, which currently receives over half a billion dollars per year. Michigan state senators, some of whom appeared at the protests Saturday, have launched their own bill to defund the organization," the Examiner reports.

"The Satanic Temple strongly opposes the promotion of misinformation and believes that all people are entitled to make informed decisions about their health, family and future without coercion," the Examiner quotes the group's website as as saying.

Satanists "consider our action a form of worship; the rejection of tyranny is an affirmation of selfhood. So long as perverted theocratic systems of power attempt to manipulate our communities and distort truths for political gain, we will rebel," the Satanist website also states, according to the Examiner.

"Satan worshipers believe that 'Satan is representative of the eternal rebel, enlightened inquiry and personal freedom,' proclaims the Satanic Temple's web site," the Examiner reports.

The Satanist position faces several difficulties, let us say. "Eternal rebel"? Not quite, because Satan is a creature and therefore is not the "eternal" anything.

"Rebel"? OK, but against what? Well, against what truly is enlightened inquiry -- to be more precise, enlightened inquiry into the inhumanity of Planned Parenthood's murdering of pre-born human beings and harvesting their body parts for profit.

Actually, these Satanist folks are reactionaries -- relying on ignorance and sloganeering to deny, among other things, the "personal freedom" of innocent human life. After, one cannot practice "personal freedom" if one is killed in the womb.

Instead of anti-science Satanism and its reactionary superstitions, far better to embrace knowledge, wisdom, ethics, and humanity living in liberating community with God and neighbor. That is a vision for humanness and freedom.

By the way, I'm all for "eternal rebellion" if that means resisting and overcoming any dehumanizing idol (like Satan, for example) that rises up in opposition to the good, the true, and the beautiful.

As I have written elsewhere: "There is a sense in which" human beings are in fact "hardwired to rebel -- not against good, but against evil. Not against life in community with our Creator and our neighbor, but agains that which, if not resisted, alienates us from the good, the true, and the beautiful -- including freedom. So of course a creature destine for freedom is a creature of resistance against tyranny, and so the founders in the Declaration affirm the 'right' and 'duty' to 'throw off' a government has as it 'direct object . . . the establishment of an absolute tyranny'."

And while we're at, let's throw off the unenlightened reactionary superstitions of Satanic propaganda. Saving the "least of these" from an experience far worse than water-boarding is on the right side both history and humanity. If the Satanists are upset, you might be doing something right.

Video: Trump, Politically Correct Reporter Spar Over "Offensive" Term "Anchor Baby"

By Rick Pearcey • August 20, 2015, 11:10 AM

"Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump debated the use of the term anchor baby with a reporter at a press conference in New Hampshire on Wednesday," Ian Hanchett reports at Breitbart.com.

"Trump was asked, 'You said that you have a big heart, and that you're not mean-spirited. Are you aware that the term anchor baby, that's an offensive term? People find that hurtful'," Breitbart reports.

According to Breitbart, "Trump responded, 'You mean it's not politically correct, and yet everybody uses it?' He then suggested the reporter give him a different term to use, to which the reporter suggested, 'The American-born [children] of undocumented immigrants.' Trump said in response, 'I’ll use the word anchor baby'."

Comment: Well done, Donald. I, for one, am a bit "offended" that "journalists" seem to think their job is to pose as reporters while helping to impose a regime of political correctness -- which is little more than propaganda serving the dictatorship of an oppressive secular progressive elite.

Please, Mr. and Missus reporter: Stop with the posturing and propaganda. Instead, try serving human freedom and dignity by being honest reporters. You want "change"? That would be a massive advance in positive change.

Did Black Lives Matter Organizer Shaun King Mislead Oprah by Pretending to Be Biracial?

By Rick Pearcey • August 19, 2015, 10:03 AM

Milo Yiannopoulos reports at Breitbart.com:

An investigative blogger has accused Shaun King, a key figure in the Black Lives Matter movement, of misleading media icon Oprah Winfrey by pretending to be biracial in order to qualify for an "Oprah scholarship" to historically black Morehouse College. The blogger says King is white and has been lying about his ethnicity for years. . . .

[I]n recent weeks, rumours have been circulating about his ethnicity. A 1995 police incident report lists Shaun King’s ethnicity as white. And blogger Vicki Pate, who has been assembling forensic accounts of Shaun King’s background and family tree on her blog, "Re-NewsIt!," has published her findings.

Pate "told Breitbart last night that King has never denied her accusations," Yiannopoulos reports.

"Shaun King has not denied the story to me, or anyone else, as far as I know," Pate is quoted as telling Breitbart.com. "Whenever it is mentioned on Twitter, he simply blocks whoever is asking and reports them for 'harassment.' He did reply to one person but only to say, 'Haters gonna hate.' I myself have been suspended from Twitter just for posing the question," Pate says, according to Breitbart.com.

"King did not return mutiple requests for comment via email and social media. He has since blocked us, too," Breitbart.com reports.

Carson: "Stop Listening to These People Who Tell Us We Cannot Talk About God"

By Rick Pearcey • August 18, 2015, 11:50 AM

Patrick Goodenough reports at CNSNews.com:

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson won an enthusiastic response from an audience at the Iowa State Fair Sunday as he called for Americans to unify to confront problems facing the nation -- and made a fervent case for talking about God.

"We have to stop listening to these people who tell us that we cannot talk about God, we cannot talk about our faith," the retired neurosurgeon said.

"I wonder, do they realize that our founding document, our Declaration of Independence, talks about certain inalienable rights given to us by our Creator -- aka God?” he asked.

"Carson went on to note the key references to God in the pledge of allegiance, on the walls of U.S. courtrooms, and on coins and banknotes," CNSNews reports.

“So, if it's in our founding documents, it's in our pledge, it's in our courts and it's on our money, but we're not supposed to talk about it, what in the world is that?” Carson is quoted as saying. "In medicine we call it schizophrenia, a form of craziness."

According to CNSNews, the GOP 2016 presidential hopeful also said "it was time for Americans 'to realize that there's nothing wrong with living by godly principles -- of loving your fellow man, caring about your neighbor, developing your God-given talents to the utmost so that you become valuable to the people around you, having values and principles that govern your life."

“And if we do that,” Carson said, "not only will we remain a pinnacle nation, but we will truly have one nation, under God."

"Carson in his remarks underscored the fact that he is 'not a politician'," CNSNews reports. As such, Carson said that unlike others aiming for the nation's highest elective office, he is not trying to "get re-elected; I want to save our nation."

CNN, Politico, WPost, NYT Bury Hillary Clinton Email Bombshell

By Rick Pearcey • August 12, 2015, 11:38 AM

John Nolte writes at Breitbart.com:

Tuesday night the bombshell news hit that Democrat presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton turned over her rogue email server to authorities and that the Inspector General found that, despite Clinton saying the complete opposite was true just a few months ago, two highly classified documents were in fact found in her emails and therefore on an unsecured server located in her New York home.

It is crucial to note that those 2 are only part of a very small sample size of the thousands of emails Hillary turned over.

Nevertheless, in an obvious effort to protect the White House for Democrats, much of the left-wing media (that identifies as objective) are noticeably downplaying and even burying this objectively huge news.

Walter E. Williams: Academic Fascism

By Rick Pearcey • August 11, 2015, 10:26 AM

Walter Williams writes in a column published today:

From the Nazis to the Stalinists, tyrants have always started out supporting free speech, and why is easy to understand.

Speech is vital for the realization of their goals of command, control and confiscation. Free speech is a basic tool for indoctrination, propagandizing, proselytization. Once the leftists gain control, as they have at many universities, free speech becomes a liability and must be suppressed. This is increasingly the case on university campuses.

Williams supports his thesis with examles from the University of California, Harvard, Oberlin College, Vassar, Azusa Pacific, and Brandeis University and then writes:

Western values of liberty are under ruthless attack by the academic elite on college campuses across America. These people want to replace personal liberty with government control; they want to replace equality before the law with entitlement. As such, they pose a far greater threat to our way of life than any terrorist organization or rogue nation. Leftist ideas are a cancer on our society.

"Ironically," Williams concludes, "we not only are timid in response, but also nourish those ideas with our tax dollars and charitable donations."

There is no humane reason to support this kind of oppressive agenda that poses as liberation but ends in unfreedom. Far better to "test everything."

Down the Memory Hole? Question About Jeb Bush's Planned Parenthood Funding Disappears From Debate Transcripts

By Rick Pearcey • August 10, 2015, 02:42 PM

Ben Johnson reports at LifeSiteNews.com:

Journalists have long refused to report the negative side of the abortion industry. Now, the mainstream media have been accused of going one step further: removing mentions of Planned Parenthood funding from the transcripts of the first Republican presidential debate.

Megyn Kelly asked Jeb Bush a probing question about his decision to serve nearly five years on a philanthropy that gave millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, during the Fox News Channel's prime time debate on Thursday. Yet all trace of that question has disappeared from numerous "full" debate transcripts posted by the nation's foremost media websites.

"Jeb Bush served as a founding director of the Bloomberg Family Foundation (now known as the Bloomberg Philanthropies) from 2010 until the end of 2014. While he was responsible for providing oversight, the tax-exempt foundation announced a $50 million family planning grant that included a global partnership with Planned Parenthood to overturn pro-life laws around the world," LifeSiteNews reports.

Kelly asked Bush: "How could you not know about these well-publicized donations? And if you did know, how could you help a charity so openly committed to abortion rights?"

Rather than answer Kelly's question, "Bush responded by speaking about his pro-life record as governor of Florida," Johnson reports for LifeSiteNews. And "when asked a second time, Bush replied, 'I didn’t know, but it doesn’t matter',"

But, of course, it does matter.

"Last Friday night, several members of a voters panel told Kelly that they did not believe Bush was telling the truth about not knowing about the grants," LifeSiteNews reports.

In addition, according to LifeSiteNews, one person on the panel "said that if Jeb did not know, it was a major oversight." Another panelist said Bush "flat-out lied," LifeSiteNews reports.

And yet, "despite the audience's reaction and two days of sustained coverage on Fox, the question does not appear in debate transcripts posted online by The Washington Post, CBS News, and Time magazine," LifeSiteNews reports.

Obama on Comparing GOP to Iranian Hardliners: "What I Said Is Absolutely True"

By Rick Pearcey • August 7, 2015, 02:18 PM

Pam Key reports at Breitbart.com:

CNN’s New Day on Friday highlighted a clip from President Barack Obama’s interview with Fareed Zakaria set to air in its entirety Sunday in which the president doubles down on his remarks from earlier in the week when he declared Iranian hardliners chanting "death to America" were "making commom cause" with Republicans.

"What I said is absolutely true factually. The truth of the matter is inside of Iran, the people most opposed to the deal are the Revolutionary Guard, the Quds Force, hardliners are opposed to any cooperation with the international community. The reason that Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and the rest of the folks in his caucus who oppose this -- jumped out and opposed it before they even read it, before it was even posted is reflective of an ideological commitment not to get a deal done. In that sense they have a lot in common with hardliners who are much more satisfied with the status quo," Obama said, according to Breitbart.

FBI Alert: "Middle-Eastern Males Approaching Families" of Military

By Rick Pearcey • August 5, 2015, 03:18 PM

Oliver Darcy reports at the Blaze:

The Denver division of the FBI issued an alert to law enforcement in Colorado and Wyoming over suspicious behavior from "Middle-Eastern males" who have approached families members of military personnel in recent weeks.

The bulletin, issued in July but only attracting attention in recent days, cited an incident when the wife of a military member was "approached in front of her home by Middle-Eastern males" who told her that she was "the wife of a US interrogator." The alert said when the woman denied the claim the "men laughed." The individuals eventually left the area, but were seen in the area on other occasions, according to the bulletin.

"The FBI added that similar incidents were reported in Wyoming throughout June," the Blaze reports.

"On numerous occasions family members of military personnel were confronted by Middle Eastern males in front of their homes," the Blaze quotes the alert as saying.

"The males have attempted to obtain personal information about the military men’s family members through intimidation," the FBI alert states, according to the Blaze.

"The FBI said in the bulletin that the men have not been identified and urged individuals to report 'concerning additional incidents," the Blaze reports.

Who might be behind this intimidation? "The Islamic State terror group has on several occasions threatened to strike military members in their homes," the Blaze states.

"In March, a group calling itself the 'Islamic State Hacking Division' posted a list of addresses purportedly belonging to approximately 100 military members. The group called for their beheadings, saying it leaked the information 'so that our bothers residing in America can deal with you'," according to the Blaze.

New Planned P'hood Transcript: Nurse Admits "It's Fun" to Dissect Dead Babies

By Rick Pearcey • August 4, 2015, 04:13 PM

Blake Neff reports at the Daily Caller:

The transcript accompanying the latest undercover Planned Parenthood video has an employee of the group admit she finds it "fun" to dissect fetuses for their organs and would "enjoy" the opportunity to do it on behalf of fetal tissue purchasers.

The exchange isn’t included in the 15-minute edited video released Tuesday by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), but is instead buried deep in the 119-page transcript accompanying it (a full-footage version of the video hasn’t been released yet).

In the exchange, Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, admits she and her co-worker would find it enjoyable if a tissue buyer wanted them to dissect dead fetuses for parts.

"It would be exciting too if you needed it dissected, because LaShonda and I are the most Curious George of the group," Farrell is quoted as saying. "I know it’s sickening on some level, but it’s fun."

Fox Sports Sued for Anti-Religious Discrimination After Firing Football Analyst for Views on Homosex "Marriage"

By Rick Pearcey • August 3, 2015, 01:30 PM

Daniel J. Flynn reports at Breitbart.com:

College football analyst Craig James filed suit against Fox Sports in a Dallas court this morning contending religious discrimination for his 2013 termination over his stance on gay marriage.

"Fox Sports fired James for one reason only: his religious beliefs about marriage," the 35-page suit charges.

"In so doing, Fox Sports violated the law. Specifically, Fox Sports violated the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act ('TCHRA') and Texas contract law along with a myriad of equitable principles."

Homosex "marriage" is a counterfeit, and no one (atheist, Christian, baker, or photographer) should be penalized for questioning it, rejecting it, or for preferring the real thing over the phony.

Fox Sports should have commended Craig James but befouls itself instead. Please, Fox, get your head out of the moral and political gutter and back into sports.

The games will be more enjoyable to watch. And you'll smell better, too.
