Intelligence Revolts Against the Less-Than-Zero-Credibility National Media

By Rick Pearcey • November 15, 2016, 09:15 AM

Cameron Cawthorne writes at Freebeacon.com:

CNN anchor Brianna Keilar claimed on Monday that she witnessed Tea Party protesters spitting on African-American members of Congress and calling them racial slurs when she previously covered the Tea Party as a reporter in 2010.

The incident that Keilar alluded to allegedly occurred on March 20, 2010, when thousands of Americans arrived in Washington, D.C. to protest House Democrats preparing to vote for Obamacare.

"While many reporters said they witnessed the incident, Breitbart News debunked it and found there was no video evidence that it ever happened," Cawthorne reports.

"In April 2010," Cawthorne continues, "Breitbart offered a reward of $100,000 to the United Negro Fund for audio or video evidence to prove that that Reps. André Carson (D., Ind.) and John Lewis (D., Ga.) were called the 'N-word' as they were entering the Cannon House building on Capitol Hill. However, nobody claimed the reward, Breitbart reported." Read more here.

Update -- Additional Comment From FB: The liberal media today has zero credibility. Less than zero. It's in negative territory like a sinkhole devouring trustworthiness.

I, for one, am not interested in a member of this power establishment expecting me to take at face value anything he or she or it might claim to "report."

Why? Because these folks and this machine have taken sides. Instead of offering evidence to support their reporting, they provide a massaged "news" that is virtually immediately accompanied by a host of opinion people telling everyone what it all means.

You. Shall. Think. This. Way.

And, of course, you are a racist if you happen to think for yourself and therefore do not immediately fall down and worship their unbelievable excellence. "Please, please run my life and do my thinking and choosing for me."

A critical thinker, therefore -- a self-respecting human being, therefore -- no longer respects today's "news" as a source of reporting on real-world events. That well -- that source -- has been poisoned.

And if the anchors and achorettes want to do a news story on who did the poisoning, they might begin by looking in the mirror.

Healthy human beings do not allow dysfunctional systems to abuse them world without end.

Rather, engaging this, ahem, "news coverage" is really much more accurately described as performing opposition research on those who seek to do you in.

Media-viewing is therefore research into seeing what lines of attack and what lines of story-telling elitist, ruling-class interests (Democrat and GOP) and globalist interests and I-want-to-control-you interests are currently swinging at you to advance their agenda and to defeat their opposition's agenda.

In other words, folks: It's not news. It is not news.

It's sales and marketing, it's propaganda and war.

And it's a battle the human being as human being -- unalienable rights and all -- endowed by our Creator with tremendous worth and dignity -- yes, it's a battle the human being as human being must fight and win.

Intelligence revolts.

Clinton, Sanders, and Progressive Racism

By Rick Pearcey • February 17, 2016, 10:27 AM

Water Williams writes:

Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders seek to claim the "progressive" mantle.

Both claim the other is not a true progressive. Clinton teased Sanders as being the "self-proclaimed gatekeeper for progressivism."

Bernie Sanders said that Hillary Clinton can't be both a moderate and a progressive and that most progressives don't take millions from Wall Street.

But let's talk about the origins of progressivism.

It's only historical ignorance that could explain black affinity for progressivism.

Exposing Black Lives Matter Movement for What It Is: Promotion of Cop Killing

By Rick Pearcey • September 2, 2015, 11:18 AM

Katie Pavlich writes at Townhall:

It's time to expose the Black Lives Matter [BLM] movement for what it is: a racist, violent hate group that promotes the execution of police officers.

The evidence is in their rhetoric and written on their shirts.

If you're against racism and murder, and in favor of a humane, free, and civil society, then fanatical groups like Black Lives Matter must renounce racism and cop-kiling -- or be shut down for fomenting violence.

Fortunatey, "two-thirds of the African American community flat-out reject BLM or strongly disagree with the movement's tactics," Pavlich writes.

Shame on rogue White House occupier Barack Obama for meeting with this group and shame on Barack Obama's Democrat Party for "affirming 'Black Lives Matter'."

There's a Reason We Hear Only About White "Micro-Agression"

By Rick Pearcey • June 25, 2015, 07:30 AM

Ann Coulter writes:

The massacre of black churchgoers in Charleston by an evil psycho is a hideous thing. The case is especially sickening because the victims were chosen specifically because of their race. Thank God it's extremely rare for whites to target black people for attack.

And yet the public is being told by the New York Times, the Washington Post, MSNBC and Salon that the Charleston massacre is proof that we live in a country packed with marauding racist murderers. It's like saying we have an epidemic of men flying gyrocopters onto Capitol Hill. Yes, there's that one time, but I notice you keep citing the same case.

"The media will pounce on any suspicion of a white-on-black crime, spend a year being hysterical about it, and, if it turns out to be a false alarm, refuse to apologize, before quickly moving on to the next hoax," Coulter observes.

"The Charleston church shooting is the first case in a very long time in which blacks really were targeted by a white person because of their race (and had the misfortune of being in a gun-free zone)," Couter writes. "Even Bennett had to reach back to stories her grandmother told her about the Ku Klux Klan (100 percent Democratic) to come up with a previous example of whites terrorizing blacks."

Coulter concludes: "The Charleston attack was a hideous, sickening crime. But that’s why we should thank our lucky stars that it was so unusual. White-on-black violence is freakishly rare everywhere in America, except in liberal imaginations."

The Profound Racism of "Black Lives Matter"

By Rick Pearcey • June 2, 2015, 08:18 AM

John Perazzo writes at Frontpagemag.com:

"Black Lives Matter." At first blush, it seems difficult to imagine anyone taking issue with the obvious, self-evident truth articulated by those three simple words.

But when we peel away the veneer of deception, we find that Black Lives Matter (BLM) is in fact one of the most destructive, hateful, racist movements in living memory.

Founded by a core group of revolutionaries who detest the United States and revere the nation’s most devoted radical enemies, BLM is, at its essence, an ideological reincarnation of the Black Panther movement that flourished in the Sixties.

Starbucks Boiling Point: Let's Talk About Black Racism

By Rick Pearcey • March 23, 2015, 08:48 AM

Jesse Lee Peterson writes:

Starbucks’ "Race Together" campaign was intended to kick-start a national conversation about race relations, but, ironically, the effort has exposed a deep-seated racism in the black community.

And now that campaign, launched less than a week ago, has been poured down the drain.

"Black History Month Is Dumb"

By Rick Pearcey • February 4, 2015, 12:37 PM

"Black History Month is dumb. And it provides no value for black Americans or anyone else," states Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson.

"Focusing on color is a losing proposition," he writes. "The obsession with race leads to anger, blame and bitterness, which ultimately destroys people. The time and energy wasted on hatred leaves little time and energy for productive living; whereas building a life based on character and love will help one succeed in life."

Instead of obessing on skin color, Peterson recommends that blacks take up his "'Get Over Your Blackness' challenge."

"I urge you to question everything you see and do during Black History Month and ask yourself, 'Is this helping to develop my character or is it sucking me in to focus on my race and making me a resentful person?'"

Mark Levin: Jeb Bush Must Answer Whether He Stands with Boehner, Scalise Amid White Supremacist Scandal

By Rick Pearcey • December 31, 2014, 08:32 AM

Matthew Boyle writes at Breitbart:

Nationally syndicated conservative radio host Mark Levin, a former official in President Ronald Reagan’s administration, is calling on former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to answer whether he stands with House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and Majority Whip Steve Scalise in the wake of a blistering Scalise scandal concerning his longtime ties to a top aide to former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard David Duke.

"We’ve had nonstop Jeb Bush talk the last two weeks," Levin said in an email to Breitbart News late Tuesday evening. "Is there a reason why he’s silent now about the GOP leadership debacle in the House? They are his supporters after all."

"Reached earlier in the day by phone, Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell said, when asked for her boss’s thoughts on the scandal, that she hadn’t spoken with Bush about it yet. But she promised to track him down sometime on Tuesday and get a statement to Breitbart News about it later in the day -- a statement that still hasn’t materialized," according to Boyle.

"Since early Monday afternoon when the Scalise scandal first broke, Bush has gone missing from the political narrative -- and seems to be trying to sit out the racially-tinged incident where an establishment Republican and member of Congressional GOP leadership has come under fire from all sides for his alleged ties to top KKK officials in Louisiana," Boyle writes.

"Not only did Scalise speak at a 2002 event hosted by one of Duke’s organizations, he has -- according to Duke and Duke’s top political aide Kenneth Knight -- been in close contact for nearly a decade with Knight," Boyle continues.

"What’s more is that Boehner and McCarthy threw their weight behind Scalise, publicly defending him in coordinated statements right as more news showed Scalise actually had a longtime personal and political relationship with Duke’s top aide Knight," according to Boyle. "Duke was the KKK’s grand wizard for a time, and Knight later became his campaign manager in his quests for various political offices."

Boyle concludes: "Breitbart News has reached out to Bush’s communications director many times throughout the day on Tuesday since that first promise for a statement on whether he stands with Scalise and the other GOP leadership officials after this -- but phone calls and emails have been ignored."

Eric Garner’s Widow: Chokehold Death "Wasn't a Black-and-White Thing"

By Rick Pearcey • December 8, 2014, 10:25 AM

The NYPost reports:

The chokehold death of Eric Garner in NYPD custody wasn’t "a black-and-white thing," his widow said Sunday -- a stunning admission that breaks sharply from lawmakers and protesters who have seized on the racial aspect of the case.

Esaw Snipes said she believed her husband was "murdered unjustly," but said skin color wasn’t a factor behind his fatal arrest for allegedly selling loose cigarettes on Staten Island last summer.

"The statement flies in the face of demands by Snipes and others — including the Rev. Al Sharpton -- for the civil rights investigation announced by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder last week," the Post reports.

Allen West Hammers Obama, Holder for Roles in Race-Baiting Industry

By Rick Pearcey • November 28, 2014, 12:31 PM

Breitbart reports:

On Thursday’s broadcast of Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel, former Rep. Allen West (R-FL) slammed President Barack Obama and outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder for the double standard applied to black-on-white crime versus white-on-black incidents, in particular the announcement of the St. Louis grand jury’s decision not to try Ferguson, MO, Police Officer Darren Wilson for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.

"Eric Holder said that he is very fine with being an activist, and this is their definition of social justice. This is once again being a part of the grievance industry and the race-baiting industry that continues to keep the black community in a situation of economic servitude, and also it is about electoral votes," West said.

"The unfortunate and sad thing is that no one is looking at is the consequences of Michael Brown, his actions and what it resulted in, tragically, his death," West continued.

"We really need a discussion in the black community about families, about families being together, about education, about young black men having respect for authority and better jobs and education opportunities. The left, the progressive socialists Barack Obama, Eric Holder -- they don't want to have that discussion."

Kevin Jackson: Race Relations "in the Toilet Since Obama Took Over"

By Rick Pearcey • November 27, 2014, 10:16 AM

"Father, author, and conservative talk-radio host Kevin Jackson, while in Ferguson, Mo., on Wednesday, said that Geroge Stephanopoulos' ABC News interview of police officer Darren Wilson was 'terrible journalism,' and added that 'race relations have gone in the toilet since Obama took over,' aided by the actions of Attorney General Eric Holder 'and his minions'," reports Michael Chapman at CNSNews.com.

"Everybody knows that race relations have gone in the toilet since Obama took over,” Jackson is quoted as saying. "In fact, when he did his first press conference over the Ferguson deal, he was talking about how race relations have come a long way. Yes, they had come a long way until he and Holder and the rest of his minions came along."

Planned Parenthood Created for "Population Control" of U.S. Blacks: Sen. Ted Cruz’s Dad

By Rick Pearcey • September 5, 2014, 11:12 AM

Dustin Siggins reports at LifeSiteNews.com:

Margaret Sanger's original goal for Planned Parenthood was to limit the nation's population of black people, says the father of a prominent senator.

Rafael Cruz, father of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-TX, told the Western Williamson County Republican Club in Texas August 21, "Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood. And you can Google it and look at her written statement. The purpose of creating Planned Parenthood was for population control in the black neighborhoods. Look at where all or most of the abortion clinics are: in the black neighborhoods to control their population."

"Every black . . . should be enraged," he added.

"Sanger, who began the Negro Project in 1939 and founded Planned Parenthood as a contraceptive organization, wrote in a letter that 'we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the [black] minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members'," LifeSiteNews reports.

Americans Now "Racist" for Waving American Flag

By Rick Pearcey • May 6, 2014, 09:41 AM

Bob Unruh writes at WND:

Americans now are being blasted as "racist" for the simple act of waving an American flag.

It happened Monday in California to a small group of protesters who waved U.S. flags in front of a school where officials had banned the practice to avoid violence threatened by Hispanic students celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

The controversy developed in 2010, when school officials ordered students not to wear U.S. flag-themed shirts on the Mexican holiday. The ban has been upheld by a federal appeals court.

The controversy brought a small group of protesters out Monday, and the community reacted immediately.

“What’s wrong with these white people holding up American flags in Morgan hill??? Racist a-holes,” wrote Gia Lee in a feed monitored by Twitchy.

"The report also noted the school superintendent was confirming that students wearing American flag-themed shirts on Monday 'won’t be kicked out," according to Unruh at WND. "Read that sentence again and then cringe at the fact that had to be said in the United States,' the Twitchy report said."

Unruh also writes that the "San Francisco Chronicle reported a group called Gilroy-Morgan Hill Patriots stood in front of Live Oak High School for about an hour waving American flags.

"The protest followed the decision earlier this year by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that school officials, in a dispute four years ago, were right to suspend the First Amendment rights of students who wanted to wear U.S. flag-themed shirts on Cinco de Mayo."

Here is the website for Live Oak High School. The principal is Lloyd Webb.

"Sterling Is Being Punished for His Thoughts"

By Rick Pearcey • May 2, 2014, 10:21 AM

Ben Stein writes:

A few lowly thoughts about Mr. Donald Sterling, his private conversations with his mistress, the media lynching of him, and the actions of the NBA sanctioning him severely for those private thoughts and comments.

"It’s a slippery slope," said billionaire sports club owner Mark Cuban when asked about the sanctions. . . . he’s right.

Sterling is being punished for his thoughts. He is being punished for actions that make the NBA look bad even though they were not actions at all, but thoughts. . . .

The head of the NBA. Hailed as a hero. Brave. Decisive. I don’t get it. He was just bullied into taking the path the media demanded. He made a rush to judgment without the slightest thought to the ramifications of his actions in a Constitutional democracy. He’s not a hero. A hero would have insisted on taking some time to study the consequences of his actions. But he did what the media demanded. So he’s a hero to them.

"And meanwhile," Stein continues, "out there in America, the black person’s world is in chaos. Wildly higher school dropout rates than among whites. Demolished family structure. Terrifyingly higher arrest and incarceration rates than whites. A drug plague. These are catastrophes and the media ignores them. But one lone old rich drunk who talked too much to his mistress. . . oh, we’ll nail him and things will be great in the world of blacks."

Stein concludes: "I am telling you, we are in a bad way here. I hate racism but I love freedom and we are throwing it away with both hands."

Video: Black Teens Assault White Student on School Bus

By Rick Pearcey • May 1, 2014, 09:36 AM

Colin Flaherty writes at Breitbart.com:

This week near Dover, Delaware, a viral video appears to show another instance of black-on-white violence among high school students.

The shaky cell phone video shows a group of black teenage boys punching, knocking down, and kicking a white teenage boy, leaving him dazed and confused on the school bus floor.

"The attack is part of a pattern of racial violence I have documented in White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It," Flaherty concludes.

Wanted: Ventriloquist. Apply at NAACP

By Rick Pearcey • February 11, 2014, 12:15 PM

Melanie Hunter reports at CNSNews.com:

Democratic strategist Angela Rye in an appearance on MSNBC’s "PoliticsNation" on Friday accused Republicans of trying to impeach President Barack Obama, because he’s "black in the White House."

Her attack is unfortunate. Using unfounded accusations of racism to protect Obama, or any president, itself smacks of racism. It relies on skin color to protect a privileged politician from legitimate critique. It is a form of cultural fascism.

Let us shout it from the mountain top: Red and yellow, black and white, questioning authority is pleasant in His sight.

This is what freedom is about. It is what free-thinking people do.

It's humane, it's Godly, and it expresses the unalienable expectation, embedded by the Creator, that human beings should think for themselves and rise up against oppression, no matter the skin tone of the oppressor.

This is especially the case in our constitutional republic, where the chief executive is hired by the people and can be fired by the people. He answers to us, we do not answer to him.

Meanwhile, here is a case for the discussion of impeachment.

Also, in this video, NAACP member William Barber refuses to apologize for his bigoted "ventriloquist" attack on black Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina.

In addition, as this same video documents, after answering "yes" to the question, "Do you think the Tea Party is racist?", marchers at a protest in North Carolina last weekend were not able to provide a single example to support their accusation.

Maybe they needed a ventriloquist.

Sarah Palin: NAACP Attack on Tim Scott Shows Left's "Increased Intolerance"

By Rick Pearcey • January 24, 2014, 10:24 AM

From Tony Lee at Breitbart.com:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fiercely defended Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) after an NAACP leader called him a ventriloquist's dummy.

"The NAACP’s attacks on Senator Tim Scott illustrate the anger and increased intolerance of the political left. Having falsely staked the claim of 'embracing diversity,' we see another example of the left’s 'tolerant hug' excluding those who do not subscribe to their liberal agenda," Palin wrote on Wednesday.

"It’s not personal. It’s not racist. It’s not mean spirited. It’s COMMON SENSE to NOT subscribe to their failed liberal policies that lead to dependence on an unstable and bankrupt government."

Christian Pastor Martin Luther King, Jr., "Changed America"

By Rick Pearcey • January 20, 2014, 01:20 PM

Kevin Jackson writes at American Thinker:

You probably don't know who Reverend Michael King, Jr., was.

That's because Reverend Michael King, Jr., is the only private citizen to have a national holiday in his honor, and is Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

King's father changed his and his son's names to Martin Luther in honor of the German reformer, Martin Luther. Martin Luther, of course, was a German monk, a professor theology and iconic figure of the 16th century reform movement of Christianity, also called the Protestant Reformation. He argued that you could not buy your way into Heaven, or avoid God's wrath, but instead must rely on God's grace.  Martin Luther was ostracized by both the Pope and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, when he refused to retract all his writings at the Diet of Worms in 1521. For this he was excommunicated by the Pope and condemned as an outlaw by the Emperor. . . .

"So why is Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., now referred to as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr? Jackson asks.

"It's simple," he explains. "The Left wants no remnants of the Christian revolution that changed this country. They want to make people forget that the biggest change to happen to American since the Civil War was led by a black Christian who was also a Republican. (See note below.)

"Referring to King as 'Dr. King' implies that the Civil Rights movement was led by an academic, that academia brought us 'change we can believe in.'

"Liberals believe in their educations, even if they have not a lick of practical experience or even common sense. Ph.D. King can lead a revolution," Jackson explains, "but a Republican pastor cannot be put in charge. That role is exclusively for black demagogues and fake reverends."

Two of those "black demagogues and fake reverends" would be Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, according to Kevin Jackson, who writes:

"Reverend" Jesse Jackson has no degree in Divinity. Jackson is a theology school dropout, having left the Chicago Theological Seminary in 1966 to "focus full-time on the civil rights movement." I think he meant the Civil Unrest movement.

As for "Reverend" Al Sharpton, he never even attended seminary. Sharpton attended Brooklyn College and dropped out in 1975, after just two years. But Sharpton did something better. He was befriended and mentored by "Reverend" Jackson.

"Michael, who became Martin Luther, was his own man. And unlike the false prophets of the Left who have profited on the back of the Civil Rights movement and the good works of Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., Reverend King made the ultimate sacrifice.

"Be proud Bible-thumpers," Jackson concludes. "It was a black Republican Christian who changed America."

Note: For further consideration, here is a Newsmax story headlined "Registration Unknown, Martin Luther King Was Likely Republican." According to Newsmax, "It is impossible to know whether King was Democrat, Republican, or independent. His home state of Georgia did not have registration by party, so allegiance to a political party depended on which primaries a voter chose to cast a ballot in. . . . But there is some evidence as to where his party leanings were, including the observations of the Republican who was Martin Luther King's congressman."

Black Mob Violence in the Liberal City of Portland

By Rick Pearcey • September 2, 2013, 07:37 AM

Colin Flaherty writes at Frontpage.com:

Taleeb Starkes describes many examples of black on white crime in his book: The Uncivil War.

"Portland is one of the most liberal cities in the country," said Starkes. "They are quite proud of that.

"But this same liberalism is causing them to ignore, condone and excuse black on white crime and black mob violence.

"People who commit these horrific acts of violence are one thing. But people who condone them by ignoring them or refusing to tell the truth about them only encourage more them to occur.

"Those folks are sicker than the criminals."

Shelby Steele: Decline of the Civil Rights Establishment

By Rick Pearcey • July 22, 2013, 02:08 PM

Mr. Steele, senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution and author of White Guilt, writes at the Wall Street Journal:

The verdict that declared George Zimmerman not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin was a traumatic event for America's civil-rights establishment, and for many black elites across the media, government and academia. When you have grown used to American institutions being so intimidated by the prospect of black wrath that they invent mushy ideas like "diversity" and "inclusiveness" simply to escape that wrath, then the crisp reading of the law that the Zimmerman jury displayed comes as a shock. . . .

Today's black leadership pretty much lives off the fumes of moral authority that linger from its glory days in the 1950s and '60s. The Zimmerman verdict lets us see this and feel a little embarrassed for them. Consider the pathos of a leadership that once transformed the nation now lusting for the conviction of the contrite and mortified George Zimmerman, as if a stint in prison for him would somehow assure more peace and security for black teenagers everywhere. This, despite the fact that nearly one black teenager a day is shot dead on the South Side of Chicago -- to name only one city -- by another black teenager. . . .

The civil-rights leadership rallied to Trayvon's cause (and not to the cause of those hundreds of black kids slain in America's inner cities this very year) to keep alive a certain cultural "truth" that is the sole source of the leadership's dwindling power. Put bluntly, this leadership rather easily tolerates black kids killing other black kids. But it cannot abide a white person (and Mr. Zimmerman, with his Hispanic background, was pushed into a white identity by the media over his objections) getting away with killing a black person without undermining the leadership's very reason for being.

"The purpose of today's civil-rights establishment is not to seek justice, but to seek power for blacks in American life based on the presumption that they are still, in a thousand subtle ways, victimized by white racism," Steele explains. "This idea of victimization is an example of what I call a 'poetic truth.' Like poetic license, it bends the actual truth in order to put forward a larger and more essential truth -- one that, of course, serves one's cause. Poetic truths succeed by casting themselves as perfectly obvious: 'America is a racist nation'; 'the immigration debate is driven by racism'; 'Zimmerman racially stereotyped Trayvon.' And we say, 'Yes, of course,' lest we seem to be racist. Poetic truths work by moral intimidation, not reason," Steele continues.

"One wants to scream at all those outraged at the Zimmerman verdict: Where is your outrage over the collapse of the black family?," Steele asks. "Today's civil-rights leaders swat at mosquitoes like Zimmerman when they have gorillas on their back. Seventy-three percent of all black children are born without fathers married to their mothers. And you want to bring the nation to a standstill over George Zimmerman?"

Steele concludes: "There are vast career opportunities, money and political power to be gleaned from the specter of Mr. Zimmerman as a racial profiler/murderer; but there is only hard and selfless work to be done in tackling an illegitimacy rate that threatens to consign blacks to something like permanent inferiority. If there is anything good to be drawn from the Zimmerman/Martin tragedy, it is only the further revelation of the corruption and irrelevance of today's civil-rights leadership."

Obama Honors Trayvon Martin, Ignores Fort Hood Killed

By Rick Pearcey • July 18, 2013, 09:25 AM

At Investor's Business Daily:

The jury has been selected and the trial date set for the jihadist accused of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 of attempted premeditated murder acting, as he says, in defense of the Taliban.

Army Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford has not received a phone call from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. . . .

Thirteen people, including a pregnant soldier, were killed and 32 others shot Nov. 5, 2009, at the Killeen facility during Hasan's rampage against soldiers being processed for deployment to Afghanistan. Hasan has said he did it in defense of the Taliban, a self-admitted act of terrorism on behalf of a foreign entity. . . .

Meanwhile, "Attorney General Eric Holder has refrained from filing terrorism charges in the case and is currently busy in Florida announcing his intent to find George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman found innocent of murdering Trayvon Martin, guilty of something, anything, to satisfy the racial grievance industry," notes IBD.

"Not only am I disappointed (in Holder), I'm embarrassed. Mr. Holder needs to understand the repercussions of his actions," Sgt. Lunsford is quoted as saying.

"Lunsford also expressed outrage at the fact that some victims are financially struggling, but that because of the categorization of the shooting as a 'workplace shooting,' he and those other victims are not entitled to combat-related benefits they would have received had they been injured overseas," IBD observes. "Meanwhile," however, "Hasan has continued to receive paychecks over the past four years, amounting to $287,000."

Kimberly Munley is "one of two police officers who confronted Hasan when he opened fire," IBD continues. Munley "sat next to first lady Michelle Obama at the 2010 State of the Union address" and "now says 'betrayed is a good word' to describe her feelings after being laid off from her job with the base's civilian police force."

"Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of," she is quoted as saying. "In fact, they've been neglected."

"President Obama said that if he had a son he'd look like Trayvon Martin and that to honor him we must surrender our Second Amendment right of self-defense against the assault Martin committed," states IBD. "Well, if he had a son, he might also look like Alonzo Lunsford, who proudly wears his uniform in court, unlike Maj. Hasan, who refused."

How might Obama honor "Lunsford as well as the other survivors and the dead of Fort Hood"?

"The commander in chief should end this 'workplace violence' charade and publicly declare it an act of terrorism (kinda like Benghazi) so they can get the benefits they deserve," IBD recommends. "And be there when Nidal Hasan is executed for his crimes."

"I'm Outside of 'Black Thought'"

By Rick Pearcey • July 17, 2013, 08:56 AM

"Apparently there is a monolithic paradigm known as 'Black Thought.' It’s supposedly what we blacks think as a unit. Like a uni-mind of sorts," writes Stacy Washington of Stacy on the Right.

"That Uni-mind requires us to be leftists with our allegiance solidly pledged to the Democrats," Washington explains. This allegiance is to be maintained "even though" Democrats "are the party of the KKK and fought to keep us enslaved."

Equally so, fidelity to Democrats must be maintained "even though they fight school choice initiatives and are the champions of abortion which has destroyed almost a third of the black population since Roe v. Wade."

In return for turning a black eye away from black genocide, the faithful can revel in how Democrats "advocate the destruction of the black family through the redistribution of earned money to welfare."

Stacy Washington apparently enjoys thinking while black: "I’ve broken free of the Borg Uni-mind. I’ve cut the cords. I’ve freed a few other blacks through my work. More will follow."

Report: MSNBC Host Touré Founded "Militant Anti-White Student Newspaper"

By Rick Pearcey • April 10, 2013, 12:40 PM

Erica Ritz reports at The Blaze:

MSNBC host Touré, a writer and "cultural critic," has recently been in the news for attacking Dr. Benjamin Carson, the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Having insulted black Rush Limbaugh fans in the past, Touré said Dr. Carson’s "un-serious" ideas are tolerated on the right only because he can be held up as a token black friend.

Now, a recent report by the Daily Caller suggests the television host has long seen the world through a racial lens.

"MSNBC host Touré founded a student newspaper dedicated to black liberation theology while he was a college student attending Emory University from 1989 to 1992," The Daily Caller claims. "Touré’s flagship publication, The Fire This Time, lavished praise on famous anti-Semites, black supremacists, and conspiracy theorists whom Touré helped bring to campus. Before he became an intense-but-sardonic TV personality, Touré also decried 'the suffocating white community' and defended a nationally famous fake hate crime."

Liberals "Believe They Own Black America"

By Rick Pearcey • April 9, 2013, 11:09 AM

During last night's Hannity Townhall, Dr. Ben Carson and a panel of leading black Americans not cowed by political correctness spoke out against racism, including the racism evident in the liberal belief that "they own black America," as Reginald Jones of the Project 21 National Advisory Council put it.

A particularly striking part of this townhall is a video clip in which MSNBC figure Chris Matthews says, "Racism is the belief that one race, white, should rules all others."

It must be said: This statement is an offense to intelligence, and it supports the proposition that while the United States is founded upon self-evident truths, liberalism is founded upon self-evident foolishness.

I don't know about you, but for me, there's something unappealing about committing intellectual suicide just to be part of a group. The Creator who liberates does not ask this of us, and we should not ask it of ourselves or expect it in others. Test everything.
