Formerly Mainstream Media vs. Shooting at Family Research Council

By Rick Pearcey • August 16, 2012, 02:30 PM

In its lack of full reporting on the shooting at the pro-family, pro-marriage Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., yesterday, the Formerly Mainstream Media (FMM), excepting ABCNews, continue to earn its well-deserved reputation of allowing left-wing ideology to triumph over inconvenient facts.

As Tim Graham writes at Newsbusters:

ABC was the only broadcast network that offered a full story on the FRC office shooting on Wednesday night. They led with the story and gave it two and a half minutes. None of the network newscasts reported the breaking detail that shooter Floyd Corkins volunteered for six months at the D.C. Center for the LGBT Community, adding depth to his political motivation.
