Mark Levin: What's the Purpose of Immigration?

On his nationally syndicated radio show Thursday, host Mark Levin praised President Trump's announcement regarding immigration reform based on merit, saying that "the purpose of immigration is to benefit the American citizenry," not "for the benefit of the alien foreigner."
"The purpose of immigration is not to bring in as many people from all over the world as possible to increase the ranks of the Democrat party and expand the welfare state," said Levin. "And it's time we take this argument back."
"Levin's comments come hours after the President announced the RAISE Act, giving those who speak English and can financially support themselves preference in obtaining a green card and coming to the United States," Cohen reports.
