At the NYPost:
Another day, another campus fascist assault, this time aimed at squelching the speech of center-right Christina Hoff Sommers.
Sommers, an American Enterprise Institute scholar, argues that much of modern feminism betrays the movement's founding ideals. The lefty kids think that's violence.
She was invited to speak Monday about trigger warnings and safe spaces at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Ore. But the space didn't prove safe for her.
Read more about this ugliness and apparently pathetic "law" "school" here and then consider: "It's time for Congress to start withholding federal funds from colleges that don't adopt clear rules to protect free speech -- and punish those who disrupt it."
Campuses have become seedbed of fanaticism. If you don't want secularist-religious-political fanatics running our country -- and turning it into more of an intellectual, social, and ethical hellhole than certain parts of it already is -- then it really is time for people of good will and sound principles to step up and end the utter stupidity and inhumanity that passes for learning and education at far too many campuses across America today.
