Trump Backer Jerry Falwell Jr. Labels Attorney General Jeff Sessions a "Phony"

Jerry Falwell Jr., the president of Liberty University and a staunch supporter of President Trump, joined the criticism of Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Thursday, calling him a "phony."
"Falwell piled on after a day during which Trump called on Sessions to halt the special counsel's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, marking an escalation in the president's furor over the probe," Samuels writes.
