Ann Coulter: Strong Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Raises Skepticism About Homosex "Marriage" Polling

By Rick Pearcey • August 6, 2012, 06:42 AM

Jeff Poor reports at The Daily Caller:

At the end of the roundtable segment on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday, conservative columnist Ann Coulter, author of the forthcoming book Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama, explained why there is cause for skepticism on the claim that the American public is gravitating toward approving gay marriage.

Coulter explained that a strong showing at Chick-fil-A “appreciation day” events throughout the country, coupled with recent ballot measures, demonstrates Gallup's polling is wrong in its finding that a majority of Americans approve of same-sex marriage.

“It tells me something about polls generally because they keep taking Gallup polls showing, ‘Oh, gay marriage is so popular,’” Coulter said. “Well, every time people have been allowed to vote on gay marriage, and that’s in about in 35 states now, it has lost. It has lost in Oregon, in Washington and in California.”
